RUBICON EXPRESS now offers a totally new suspension system for 1997 and later Jeep Wranglers. The main feature of the kit is the replacement of the short factory axle control arms with longer arms to improve geometry for lifted applications. The new arms measure 36" long and are made from thick wall 4130 steel for the ultimate in durability. The arms are mounted to a new heavy duty cross member that allows an additional 1" of ground clearance over stock. Rubicon Express reports the other features of the kit are: relocated front adjustable track bar and drop pitman arm for improved steering, rear adjustable track bar, progressive bump stops, extensive shock options, lift heights from 3-6", all necessary hardware, and no exhaust modifications are required. 35" tires can be fitted with no body lift. The kit is 100% bolt on and can be installed by most home mechanics.

Rubicon Express claims the improved geometry allows for more stability at all speeds by minimizing the axle steer for which lifted TJ's have been notorious. The longer arms allow for more spirited off road driving which is a major benefit when miles of bumpy road lie ahead, also unwanted torque roll is limited due to the new control arm configuration. Wheel travel is at a maximum and all beneficial for conquering any obstacle or off -road situation without compromise. Drivers will feel more confident both on the trail and on the street due to more predictable handle and more control.
